AMELIA TERRY
Amelia is currently a sophomore at Hickory Ridge High School and has been playing softball for 4 years. She is currently in her second season of travel softball with the Black Widows. Amelia also played for the Hickory Ridge Middle school team in the 8th grade and is now playing on the Hickory Ridge High School JV team for the last two years.

Outside of softball I have been invested in the drama club at my school. This led me to try out and play a supporting role in the school's musical Something Rotten! I have taken interest in the arts along with other career classes that have earned me a certification in Photoshop for visual design and AutoCAD for drafting. I have always been interested in athletics. Before softball, I trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for seven years which led me to compete in the NAGA competition for grappling, where in my two categories I got 3rd and 2nd in 2021. I also enjoy surfing with my dad whenever we go to the beach and have been doing so ever since I was 4 years old. I have always taken lengths to learn new things and challenge myself mentally. I currently have a 4.1 weighted GPA.
I'm not entirely sure what I would want to do after school for college and a career. I have too many interests and picking just one for a future seems almost impossible at times, but if I had to decide, I would like to go to school to study Computer Science and go into a career in cybersecurity
