Lauren is among the 2028 class at Cramerton Christian Academy in Gaston County NC where she maintains a GPA of 3.5. She plays travel softball as well as school ball and Little League. Lauren is involved in her local church where she serves regularly in children’s and audio/visual ministry.

Hey! I’m Lauren, and I have been playing softball for around 5 years. I started playing softball for the Mount Holly park and rec at age 11. I remember asking the coach for just one inning for my first time on the mound. That was when my pitching interest really started. Little did I know how challenging it would be. It’s been full of ups and downs, but wouldn’t trade it for anything. Pitching is my favorite position on the field for a couple reasons: I can set the pace, and I do well under pressure. Pitching is like artwork, connecting the dots to complete the picture. I’m still growing in my softball journey and looking forward to where it takes me. “A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.” Proverbs 16:9
