KYLASIA BRITT

I am a hardworking and dedicated person both on and off the field. Outside of softball, I focus on working hard to balance being a student-athlete, to keep up with my academic responsibilities. I am a Freshman at East Gaston High School, where I am enrolled in the Health Science Academy, and plan to continue this track throughout all 4 years of High school. This is preparing me for my future goals of becoming a Registered Nurse.

When I go to college, my goal is to major in Nursing, because I enjoy helping others. I am determined to work hard in college so I can gain the knowledge and experience needed for my future career as a registered nurse.

I am also a dedicated and competitive softball player who has been playing the sport ever since i can remember. I was 5 when i first started playing T-ball, at that time i had no idea that i was going to grow to love the game, and it was going to become my identity! Now, 10 years later, here i am, still loving being on the field, in the dirt, and playing softball. I have put in a lot of time and effort to develop my skills and continue to work hard every season to improve my game. I am the type of player who stays focused, listens to coaching, and learns from my mistakes to get better. Throughout my softball experience, I have earned recognition for my effort, teamwork, and strong work ethic.
